What we offer - class descriptions

Group classes are held at the Neads Training Facility, located at 305 Redemption Rock Trail, Rt. 140, Princeton MA.

An absolute must for every puppy! Puppy classes should be required just like vaccinations! We know exactly what problems a puppy is going to have and it is so easy to keep it from happening! This class is about temperament, handling, socialization, preventing the predictable problems that puppies develop, teaching good manners and a soft mouth, sit-down-stand, stay, attention, come, rollover..... this class is the foundation of a sound friendly healthy well behaved puppy! (Puppies must be under 17 weeks old at the start of classes). Strict adherence to age limits ensures that your puppy will be safe! This is a real Puppy K class. Families Welcome!!! Class is open enrollment style with revolving curriculum so you never have to wait for a class, you can start right now! How to get a dog you can live with 101. For dogs age 17 weeks and older (at the start of classes) with no prior experience (although some people who don't think their pup is ready for an advanced class may elect to take this course first). Settling the dog down, good manners, obedience cues, attention, leash walking, come, stay, as well as temperament and socialization problem solving are the focus of this class.... Oh ok, and a few tricks too! Fun, easy to follow, fast paced classes. 7 week course, first class no dogs. For owners who prefer one on one lessons in the privacy of their own home, or for dogs that are unsuitable for group classes. Generally speaking, we meet for one hour once a week in your home (initial lesson is an hour and a half). The number of weeks is dependent on your goals, which we can help you determine. These lessons can be focused on solving a particular problem or problems, or can be a basic obedience course. Many common doggie problems can be solved in just a few sessions or even in one consultation, while others may involve training over a longer period of time. Remember that we are teaching you how to train your dog (but don't worry, we'll get each behavior started for you! And we'll make sure you can do it too!). Our goal is to get you to happy-dog- ownership ASAP, we will never over-sell the number of lessons you need!!

 

A one time, one and a half hour in-home session for owners who want help in assessing their dog’s behavior. Can be a stand alone session to solve a particular problem or to fix management and relationship related problems, or can be the beginning of a set of sessions; a behavior modification program or private obedience lessons.
